Grand Canyon, Northwestern Arizona
The Grand Canyon is one of the most spectacular, iconic sites in America!
On one of our many trips to Las Vegas, we decided to take a trip to see the Grand Canyons. We had no idea what we were in store for. We knew the Canyons were going to be incredible to see but we had no idea our experience would be as grand as it was.
We decided to go big for this trip book our excursion while on the Las Vegas Strip. Our trip was not planned but we had time to spare and wanted to do something different. Instead of taking the Coach ride there and just walking around, we wanted to make our trip memorable.
Not only did we take the coach ride there, we also booked a helicopter ride to the bottom of the Canyon. Once we got to the bottom, we were escorted down to the river and hopped onto a boat to travel through the river and do it all in reverse.
WOW is all I can say. The Coach ride there was long but we had a bus driver that made our long ride bearable and fun. We stopped a few times and did a bit of sightseeing along the way.
The helicopter ride was incredible. There are no words to describe your emotions and the things you see along the way. We were amazed and felt one with nature.
The boat ride was just as amazing. You feel so incredible small looking up at this massive Canyons. The colors were beautiful. The ride is not long but worth doing as well.
There were people who booked a plane ride to the Canyons instead of taking the Bus. Although you get there faster, you do not get sitesee the way you do when you get to travel by land.
Fair warning, the trip is a bit costly but if you can manage to splurge a bit and do all three things when visiting the Canyons, I promise you that you will not regret it.
