I can't imagine Sesame Place every changing. If anything it must have gotten better over the years. I took my daughter many moons ago but from all I hear the experiences are still the same. Sesame Street has been around for a long time and having Sesame Place to make the show so real is awesome for every little kid and adult who grew up looking at Sesame Street.
I have always felt that moms who bring their children under the age of 3 years are doing it more for themselves and that is not a bad thing because I sure did. Kids do not remember those experiences at a young age and can't appreciate it the way you would want them to. For us parents, it is something different to do that is not only exciting but brings back our own childhood memories.
Relax, have fun and enjoy your time with your family. They have many kids activities but only a few rides meant for bigger kids and adults.
